Second shooting reported at Raleigh shooting range within a year

Raleigh police are investigating a shooting that left one man injured Friday afternoon.

The incident took place around 2:30 p.m. at OnPoint Shooting Range at 3501 Spring Forest Road.

The victim with a gunshot wound to the head was taken to a local hospital.

On July 5, 2023, police vehicles were seen outside the OnPoint Shooting Range around 4 p.m.

A man died after receiving serious injuries from a gunshot wound.
