2 people injured in Wake Forest crash

Two people were injured Wednesday in a crash in Wake Forest.

Before 6:30 a.m., a crash involving two vehicles closed a portion of eastbound Durham Road/N.C. Highway 98 near Flemming House Street.

The crash was causing major delays, and motorists were urged to avoid the area and use an alternate route.

Two people were transported to a local hospital with undisclosed injuries.
