2 arrested after Hoke County authorities find 256 grams of meth in Raeford home

Hoke County authorities arrested two people Thursday on drug charges after a search of their Raeford home turned up methamphetamine.

Hoke County authorities arrested two people Thursday on drug charges after a search of their Raeford home turned up methamphetamine.

The Hoke County Sheriff's Office said its special operations unit searched the house at 101 Overlook Ct. on Thursday and found 246 grams of methamphetamine. The team also found marijuana, prescription pills and assorted drug paraphernalia.

Scott Alan Minor was charged with two counts of trafficking methamphetamine, possession of schedule IV and schedule VI controlled substances and possession of drug paraphernalia, officials said. Minor was jailed under a $750,000 bond.

Deidre Elizabeth Mordaski was also charged in the incident; her charges include: contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile, possession of methamphetamine, possession of schedule IV and schedule VI controlled substances and possession of drug paraphernalia, officials said. Mordaski was given a $60,000 bond.
