Mark your calendars: NC Museum of Natural Sciences' Astronomy Days goes virtual

The N.C. Museum of Natural Sciences' annual Astronomy Days will go virtual this month with a week of free online activities.

The annual event will run Jan. 25 to Jan. 31 and feature educators and scientists from the museum, members of NASA and the Raleigh Astronomy Club and more.

Programs include a tour of Carolina skies using planetarium software; an update on NASA's InSight Mars lander; a movie night featuring "The Empire Strikes Back; and a look at the Artemis Program, which could land North Carolina astronaut Christina Koch on the moon.
