Chick-fil-A closing dining rooms and only offering drive-through

Chick-fil-A locations nationwide are closing dining rooms and only offering drive-through service starting March 16.

The announcement was made on the Chick-fil-A website on Sunday, March 15, 2020.

The message indicates, "As we navigate the evolving impact of coronavirus on our communities, we are temporarily closing our dining room seating to help limit person-to-person contact. Some of our restaurants may only offer service through our drive-thrus, while others may be able to offer takeout, delivery or mobile order options. Thanks for your patience. We know these are challenging times, but we’ll continue to do our best to serve you."

Many of the Facebook pages for local Chick-fil-A restaurants are indicating how they will handle catering and mobile orders so check those specific pages for details.

For instance, the Chick-fil-A location on Timber Drive in Garner posted the following:

"Due to the Covid-19 virus, effective starting tomorrow, Monday, March 16 at 10:30 am, our dining room will be closing and we will continue to operate as a Drive-Thru only restaurant. Additionally, we will treat all catering orders as take out only and do "curb side delivery" for Chick-fil-A mobile orders."

If you are headed out to eat, keep in mind that you may only have a take-out or drive-through option at other local restaurants as well.
