With the coronavirus top of mind, you’ll see hand sanitizer and sanitizing wipes at voting sites across the Triangle on Super Tuesday.
Joe DeLuca is getting ready for a long day on Tuesday. He’s made one important observation.

“I’ve noticed they have lots of bottles of hand sanitizer around here,” he said.
Hand sanitizer will be available at the Brooks Avenue Church of Christ polling location Tuesday.
DeLuca says to prevent the spread of germs, he’ll continue his normal routine.
“I try to wash my hands frequently during the day,” he said. “I’ve just taken the normal preventions. I assume everybody else does that, too.”
Courtney Smith plans to vote on Tuesday. Having bottles of hand sanitizer available gives her peace of mind, she said.
“Even if I’m not able to wash my hands at any given moment, knowing they are doing some effort to make things a little better, it’s definitely a load off my mind,” she said.
Ken Johnson plans to vote Tuesday as well.
“I try to take the normal precautions but I’m not especially worried,” he said. “I try to wash my hands and keep from touching my face.
DeLuca’s advice: “Just do what you’re supposed to do during flu season.”
