17-year-old Parkland High School student dies from injuries after jumping from back of school bus, police say

A 17-year-old Parkland High School student has died from his injuries after he jumped from the back of a moving school bus, according to the Winston-Salem Police Department.

On Monday, police said the student, Alex Wilson, succumbed to his injuries.

On Nov. 20, around 5:30 p.m., officers said they responded to a call for trouble.

Police said when they got to the scene, they found the victim lying on the road. They were later identified as a student from Parkland High School.

Police said they are still investigating the incident.
