16-year-old charged in August slaying

Police arrested a 16-year-old Wednesday in an August shooting death in southeast Raleigh.

Akeem Paige of Raleigh was charged with murder in the Aug. 19 death of Christopher Degrantus Fowler.

Officers responded to a reported shooting at 611 Peyton St. and found Fowler, 20, dead at the scene.

No other details of the shooting or the arrest were released.
