15 new flights launch this spring at RDU

Fifteen new flights will launch in April at Raleigh-Durham International Airport, officials said Monday.

Frontier Airlines will expand nonstop service to five popular destinations beginning April 10, according to RDU.

Frontier Airlines

On April 10, Frontier will add routes to:

• Boston (BOS)
• Miami (MIA)
• New York-LaGuardia (LGA)
• Tampa (TPA)

Frontier will add nonstop service to Chicago-O’Hare (ORD) on April 11 and to Milwaukee (MKE) on May 16.

Breeze Airways

• April 30: Breeze Airways will begin service to San Diego (SAN).
• May 3: Breeze Airways will begin service to White Plains, NY (HPN)
• May 23: Breeze will add flights to Burlington, Vt. (BTV) and Syracuse, NY (SYR)
• May 24: Breeze offers with one more new nonstop route to Portland, Me. (PWM)

Avelo Airlines

On May 10, Avelo Airlines is slated to begin nonstop service to Albany, NY (ALB).

RDU adding new international routes

Three new international routes are soon scheduled to launch from RDU:

• Lufthansa will begin service to Frankfurt, Germany (FRA) June 6
• Copa Airlines will begin service to Panama City (PTY) June 21
• Aeromexico will launch flights to Mexico City (MEX) July 1
