Durham trampoline park scheduled to open by late December

A second Sky Zone trampoline park could open in the Triangle by the end of the year in Durham.

Pralhad Khatri, who is working to open the business in Durham, tells me that it's planned to open in mid- to late December.  A Sky Zone in Raleigh on Westinghouse Boulevard not far from Capital Boulevard opened in September.

The indoor park features wall-to-wall trampolines, dodge ball courts, party rooms and more. 

Khatri tells me that the trampolines have been installed and the rest of the construction is progressing quickly. The Durham location will be at The Shops at Northgate, 1720 Guess Rd, Suite 90, in Durham.

It's the second trampoline park to enter the market. Defy Gravity has both Raleigh and Durham locations.

UPDATE: I also just learned of a new one that opened last weekend in Raleigh. The Launching Pad Trampoline Park is at 6421 Hilburn Dr., Raleigh.
