Fuquay-Varina police said a marijuana grow operation was found during a search of a home.

Police were executing a search warrant around 9 a.m. Wednesday in the 800 block of Bridlemine Drive when they found multiple items related to the maintenance and distribution of drugs. They did not say what prompted the search.

Andrew Ittenbach was charged with maintaining a dwelling for controlled substances, manufacturing marijuana, possession of a controlled substance with the intent to sell/deliver, possession of a schedule 1 (psilocybin mushrooms) and paraphernalia. He remained at the Wake County Detention Center.

Police said they seized 10 pounds of marijuana and THC waxes in the search.
