A $10 million mansion in Raleigh's North Ridge Country Club, once owned by a Russian couple involved in a high-profile legal case, has been withdrawn from a luxury auction.
The eight-bedroom, 14-bathroom home boasts 9 fireplaces, countless stories, and a host of amenities including two elevators, a wine cellar, a sauna, a workout room, and a safe room. Outdoor features include an infinity saltwater pool, two outdoor bars, and nearly 3,000 square feet of covered porches.

A spokesperson from Platinum Luxury Auctions stated, "To our surprise and disappointment, the seller exercised her option on Friday afternoon to withdraw the property from the planned luxury auction sale. The seller made this election despite having top-tier performance metrics for the auction promotion, which included more than 93 formal buyer inquiries and 25 property visits during a 4-week period, with multiple buyer parties revisiting the home multiple times—a sign of exceptional buyer sincerity."
The property, owned by Tatyana Teyf, has a notable history. On December 5, 2018, FBI agents raided the mansion at 6510 New Market Way, seizing cash, cars, and diamonds as part of an investigation into the couple's involvement in multimillion-dollar businesses, money laundering, and a $150 million kickback scheme with the Russian military.
Leonid Teyf pleaded guilty to bribery of a public official, visa fraud, and making false statements on his tax returns.
Platinum Luxury Auctions currently has no plans to reschedule or re-list the property for a future auction.
