1 Killed in Harnett County Accident

An Angier man was killed Friday night when his car flipped several times, according to the state Highway Patrol.

Manuel Cruz Hernandez, 27, was driving on Gardner Road, about 1.5 miles south of Angier. when he ran off the road, then overcorrected before flipping, authorities said.

No other cars were involved, and there were no other injuries reported. Hernandez was wearing his seat belt, investigators said.

The accident is still under investigation.
