1 Charged, 1 Sought in Harnett Slaying

Harnett County authorities on Thursday arrested one man in connection with a Sept. 16 shooting at a Bunnlevel party and were searching for a second suspect.

Lamont Everette McKinney was charged with first-degree murder in the death of Eric Sinclair Williams. Williams, 23, was shot and killed  during a Sept. 16 party on Nutgrass Road in Bunnlevel. Two other men were wounded in the shooting, which authorities said occurred after an argument at the party.

Authorities also issued a first-degree murder warrant for Ron Sintell Bryant, 28, in the case. Bryant might be driving a white Cadillac Escalade with North Carolina license plate J373BP.
