'Jena 6' Rally Planned in Raleigh

Students from local universities were expected to meet Thursday in Raleigh in a rally to support the "Jena Six."

The rally will be held at Shaw University. Speakers will address the crowd at 1 p.m. followed by a demonstration and meeting.

Organizers said it will be a peaceful rally of support.

A larger rally is expected to take place Thursday in Jena, La.,  in support of six black teenagers jailed for the beating of a white classmate.
