Storms for days: Tropical, rainy weather will stick around
A completely dry day can't be guaranteed at all this weekend, WRAL Mike Maze said Thursday night.
Posted — UpdatedThe wet, tropical weather is fueled by a low pressure system that started in Florida and is now moving into Georgia, dragging in tropical moisture from the Atlantic.
Maze said, in the next few days, showers with continue.
Friday sees a 60 percent chance of rain before the weekend's 30 to 40 percent chance.
Friday's forecast shows clouds with scattered showers throughout the morning and afternoon.
Maze said to definitely bring an umbrella to work and school.
A steady chance for rain continues into Saturday and Sunday, Maze said.
"We might see some sunshine on Sunday, but we're definitely going to be seeing some storms," he said.
