Stedman Woman Charged With Sex Crimes Against Teen

Cumberland County Sheriff’s detectives have charged a Stedman woman with having a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old boy.

STEDMAN, N.C. — Cumberland County Sheriff’s detectives have charged a Stedman woman with having a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old boy.

Meagan Leigh Reynolds, 22, of 620 Rockinghorse Court, allegedly engaged in inappropriate behavior with the teen between June 16 and June 23, 2007.

The acts were committed at the home of the teen’s aunt, investigators said.

Reynolds was charged with six felony counts of statutory rape and statutory sex offense with a child, three counts of taking indecent liberties with a child and three counts crimes against nature.

She was being held in the Cumberland County Detention Center under a $51,000 secured bond. Her first court appearance was scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the detention center courtroom.
