Steam, Not Smoke, Coming from NCSU Dorm
Firefighters determined that reports of smoke were unfounded. Steam was rising from the University Towers.

Wake County firefighters were dispatched Tuesday morning to investigate reports of smoke rising above the University Towers at N.C. State University.
The towers, at Friendly Drive and Hillsborough Street, are student housing.
Once on the scene, firefighters determined that it was merely steam coming from the building and that there was no fire danger.
