The State Farmers Market in Raleigh has a number of fun and free events this summer including Blueberry Day, Peach Day, Watermelon Day and more!

Summer State Farmers Market Events Schedule (from their website )
Crawfish Day
Saturday, June 2; 10 a.m. until crawfish runs out

Live and cooked crawfish will be availble for sale by the pound during this popular summer event.

Blueberry Day
Thursday, June 21; 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Visitors can enjoy a free blueberry dessert, and pick up fresh N.C. blueberries from local growers.

Peach Day
Thursday, July 12; 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Enter the annual Peach Dessert Contest, enjoy free peach ice cream and visit with the N.C. Peach Queen during this family friendly event.

Watermelon Day
Thursday, July 26; 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Savor a slice of fresh N.C. watermelon while you watch the live weigh-in for our Largest Watermelon Contest.

WPTF Weekend Gardener Show
Saturday, August 11

Join Mike Raley, Anne Clapp and Rufus Edminsten for a live broadcast of the Weekend Gardener Show. The co-hosts will be availble to answer your fall gardening questions.

Honeybee Day
Saturday, August 18
