State Fair tickets go on sale Aug. 1
Time to start planning your trip to the fair. Tickets, which are discounted, go on sale in a week.

A quick note to share that tickets to the State Fair go on sale at 10 a.m. Aug. 1. You'll be able to buy them online on the fair's website at a discounted rate.
Advance price tickets for adults ages 13 to 64 will be $6 (instead of the regular price of $8). The price is $2, instead of $3, for kids ages 6 to 12. And ride tickets will be $10 for a sheet of 18. They'll sell for $1 per ticket during the fair. The advance price is good from Aug. 1 to Oct. 13.
Tickets for concerts in Dorton Arena also go on sale on Aug. 1.
The State Fair runs Oct. 13 to Oct. 23 this year.
