Stabbing sends GoRaleigh bus passenger to the hospital

One man was hospitalized Wednesday morning after a fight that started on a GoRaleigh bus.

RALEIGH, N.C. — One man was hospitalized Wednesday morning after a fight that started on a GoRaleigh bus.

According to police, two men got into an argument on the bus before 7 a.m. The bus driver kicked them off, and one of the passengers was stabbed on the sidewalk after they exited the bus, police said.

The stabbing occurred at the GoRaleigh bus station across from Moore Square on South Blount Street in downtown Raleigh.

Tony Britt, 49, was taken to WakeMed with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Kenny Vanness Ginyard, 41, was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury.
