Spring Lake removes interim tag from town manager
The Spring Lake Board of Aldermen removed the interim tag Aug. 12 and made Ken Metcalf town manager. Metcalf has served in an interim capacity since April.
Posted — UpdatedSPRING LAKE, N.C. — The Spring Lake Board of Aldermen removed the interim tag Aug. 12 and made Ken Metcalf town manager. Metcalf has served in an interim capacity since April.
Metcalf has worked for the town for 14 years, most recently as director of Parks and Recreation. He replaced Tommy Burns, who left Spring Lake to manage Harnett County.
"He is the right man at the right time for the job," said Mayor Chris Rey in a statement.
