Why don't you attribute the problems in the red zone
in terms of converting into touchdown What do you feel
like the biggest factor Yeah I mean I think removing
the ball well all night we get to the red
zone we kind of have a stalled a little stop
on the road you know start with me I can
make better decisions
You gotta make some plays at the same time
I think credit them
They had a plan when we got down there and
uh I think we gotta run the ball maybe a
little bit down there but at the same time you
know they were stopping the run pretty well
So we gotta throw it and just go down the
red zone You gotta have players make plays and you
know tonight you know we didn't do that and it
starts with yeah I was just rolling out and I
was looking left and came back right
I thought john was stay in the same spot he
moved a little bit right and then throwing it away
Probably I think throwing away was a better answer or
maybe try to run
But that's really all that part of the game where
you're trying to make a play
You guys hadn't hadn't hadn't been able to score since
your first drive
Just trying to make a play

We had a little setup we're kind of drift drift
back you know if we have two routes coming over
the top and then you didn't see anything and probably
thrown out the back end zone but try to make
a play out of it and you know it ended
up costing probably play the game
Yeah I mean he's a phenomenal player
I just told him you know if you ever need
anything from me you know it's a pleasure playing with
him and uh you know whoever he decides you know
I'm sure he'll do a great phenomenal player you know
one of probably the best player I've ever played with
So just blessed to be able to have a receiver
like him you know day in day out he comes
to work and you know every week he puts on
a show
So congrats on his career from him and he's a
hell of a player
It's just disappointing
You know a few plays here and there I think
a little bit tonight was a different story but I
think that fumble my reception my first one being a
player in the game but the other two they're tight
games and you know we got a find ways to
win
We find a way to win the whole season
You know this this was up
Some things
Um you know credit Clemson they've been here before they
knew how to handle it
You know after we force three and out went down
to score
You know they they've been here and you know it's
our first time here in what seven years
Um we haven't won since 1980
Um so we still got a lot to be proud
of and the season was at Tara Hill and appreciate
all the fans you know sorry to let you all
down
Just just this point
Yeah I think you know the best player down there
is josh I think you know we had a chance
with antoine on the fade I gotta make a better
throw
Um I thought um you know antoine did the best
he could but they're just fine
Always you know I feel like every time we get
down there it's like we always start like the first
nine so it's just tough to get nine yards down
there and it just feels so condensed
You know sometimes whenever we get you know within the
five I feel like um you know We have a
good shot of scoring sometimes we get kind of the
back 1st and 12 even that's that's tough scenario try
to get a first down
Are you committed to return to North Carolina Well that's
my that's my that's my intentions
You know I'm I'm Carolina kid you know I mean
something wearing that Carolina blue
Um so that's my intentions and I love this place
and you know these fans been great you know it's
been a heck of a season first year for me
you know I couldn't ask for more um probably the
games we've got a little different at the end here
But you know just thanks to all the fans and
the players and the coaches
It's been it's been a fun run parents
Um yeah I mean I haven't had anybody reach out
I don't know if I will probably won't really except
um you know personal like between contact I don't think
that's bad you know for um way that Kevin has
treated me and you know how well put trust in
me you know registered freshman quarterback and uh you know
just outstanding that when when that when that bridge comes
I'm not really sure
I'm not that deep into it
Uh that's that's the corner
Um yeah he's you know he's a good player
Um I think he's a young kid too
I'm not sure what what year he was but you
know he made some plays tonight
Did a nice job
He was on the defenders if it was completely was
right there
But also I feel like we have some guys that
were open on him
So you know the second player got a good good
night
I think you know the interception I gave him a
gift
So
like what happened to that exchange Yeah I think it
starts with me
I we had a little you know in uh I'm
reading the end
Um I think I got a little hesitation now try
to give it to him
I think he already thought I pulled it
Um so just something we do every day that you
know games like this matters big turning point in the
first half and it's one of those places back what
type of adjustments Yeah
I mean we knew that coming in the front seven
was pretty pretty pretty good
Um pretty elite
So try to get the ball out fast
I thought they did a pretty nice job of that
Um you know they're still coming
They got ways of guys coming in and they switch
on defense and they try to do a little bit
of what state did with that three down front with
three linebackers
So they just try to handle it that way and
they've got great players up front
They're gonna be playing on Sundays
Cannon just to get the ball out
Um yeah he just said I thought we fought hard
and that's the thing that you know that Carolina blue
we're not gonna accept the feet except the feet and
we're gonna give it all we got obviously we didn't
he said we didn't get in the way that we
wanted to but he's still proud of us
And uh you know we have some players back
He mentioned some players that big players in the game
It's just a little bit disappointing
