SPCA launches AniMeals program
The SPCA's Pet Food Pantry program provides a two-month supply of pet food to participants of the AniMeals program. The new service is to help home-bound seniors and disabled adults living in Wake County who may be having to choose between feeding their pets and heating their homes, paying their bills or taking their medications.
FUNKY CHICKEN GARLIC FRIED RICE. >> OUR MISSION FOCUSES ON MAINTAINING RELATIONSHIPS WITH PEOPLE. AS PROVIDED FOR COMMUNITY ASSISTANCE AND OUR PROGRAM. WE CONTINUE THIS PROGRAM TODAY WITH SAFETY PROCEDURES AND RENEW PARTNERSHIP. THIS WAY, WE CAN HELP KEEP MORE PETS AND PEOPLE TOGETHER. >> THE REALITY IS THAT MANY PEOPLE ON THE PROGRAM, THEY REALLY DO HAVE A HARD TIME GETTING OUT FOR THEIR PETS, AND THESE PETS ARE THEIR FAMILIES FOR THEM, AND OUR GOAL IS JUST TO MAKE SURE WE HAVE RESOURCES TO KEEP ON HELPING THE PEOPLE WHO NEED TO BE HELPED AND DONATE . >> THEY'VE DONE A GREAT JOB. WE ARE VERY CLOSE, AND THEY BRING SOMETHING EVERY TWO MONTHS BECAUSE I'M NOT ABLE TO JUST GO OUT AND GET IT. AT THE SAME TIME, IT HELPS OUT FINANCIALLY. >> ANOTHER THING THAT SPECIAL ABOUT THIS PROGRAM IS WE KNOW THAT SOME OF THE RECIPIENTS OF THE PET SERVICES, THEY WERE CUTTING THEIR OWN PRESCRIPTION SO THAT THEY COULD SPEND LESS ON THEIR OWN MEDICATION IN ORDER TO AFFORD THE SUPPLIES THAT THEIR PETS NEEDED. >> I'M VERY GLAD IT EXISTS. TAKES A LOT OF LOAD OFF SO YOU CAN GET OUT. IT MAKES A BIG DIFFERENCE. >> WE CANNOT DO THIS WORK WITHOUT YOU. PLEASE GIVE A GIFT TODAY, OR CALL 919532208 THREE.
