Southern Pines police were investigating the death of a 28-year-old man who was found shot at the Brookside Park Apartments Tuesday night.

<b>SOUTHERN PINES, N.C.</b> — Southern Pines police were investigating the death of a 28-year-old man who was found shot at the Brookside Park Apartments Tuesday night.

Officers responded to the 300 block of Shaw Avenue about 11:40 p.m. and found David Rashawn Shaw dead from at least one gunshot wound, according to Detective Rodney Hardy.

Police have not identified any suspects. Anyone with information is asked to call  the police tip line at 910-693-4110 or the detective division at 910-692-7031.
