HOPE MILLS, N.C. — A group of students walked out of class early Wednesday at South View High School in Cumberland County. At 9 a.m., students marched past the school sign and gathered briefly on the football field.
Sky 5 video showed students holding signs and shouting "No means no."
They said the walkout was in protest of sexual assaults they said happened at the school during the past year.
The Cumberland County Sheriff's Office said they do not have any active investigations of sexual assaults involving anyone at the school.
