What songs do you never grow tired of? What tunes sound great no matter how many times you hear them?
This, of course, is a follow-up to yesterday’s lively discussion about songs we love to hate. I think “Achy Breaky Heart” was the dubious winner.
Personally, I still love “Rhythm of the Rain” and “The Last Leaf” by The Cascades. I never grow tired of those beautiful 1960’s songs. There’s also an album from Celtic-fusion band Nightnoise called “Something of Time.” I listen to it once a month and it always inspires me. Plus, the CD “Lonely Runs Both Ways” by Alison Krauss and Union Station is an evergreen in my iPod along with The Gladiator Theme from Hans Zimmer and Bach’s Brandenburg concertos.
