Editor's Note: Songs of the Season runs all week and features some really talented local kids and teens performing holiday tunes on stage at Imurj, a collaborative art and music space in downtown Raleigh.
Next up in our Songs of the Season series this week is Kenzie Morgan, a 17-year-old senior at Longleaf School of the Arts in Raleigh.
She also is regularly on stage as part of The Relative Pitch, an open mic night program for kids and teens with monthly events at The Blue Note Grill in Durham. Thank you to Rissi Palmer, Relative Pitch's host and Kenzie's voice coach, for connecting us with this really talented young woman.
Watch the video to hear Kenzie sing a soulful version of "December," by Norah Jones.
