THIS IS KATE GENTLE ON THE PHONE WITH ME. FIRST OF ALL, HOW ARE YOU, I KNOW THIS MUST OF BEEN A VERY SCARY NIGHT.>> I'M DOING FINE, THANK YOU. MY CHILDREN AND I IN OUR HOME ARE SAFE AND PROTECTED. AND I GUESS IT WAS LIKE AROUND MAYBE 11:30 AND IT STARTED STORMING REALLY BAD AND IT WAS LIGHTNING AND THUNDER ON TOP OF EACH OTHER, NONSTOP. AROUND 11:35 OR SO, IT GOT VERY, VERY QUIET, SUDDENLY. AND NOTHING WITH NO RAIN OR THUNDER OR LIGHTNING ON THE FLOOR VIBRATED A LITTLE BIT AND I RAN AND I GOT MY TWO LITTLE KIDS. I PUT THEM IN MY MASTER CLOSET AND I MAJOR MY 16-YEAR-OLD CAME AND WE SAT ON THE SIDE OF THE BED NEXT TO THE CLOSET DOOR IN ABOUT THREE MINUTES LATER, THE ALERT CAME THROUGH TO TAKE SHELTER IMMEDIATELY. YOU COULD TELL SOMETHING WASN'T RIGHT.>> THAT SOUND SO TERRIFYING, I'M GLAD TO HEAR THAT YOU AND YOUR KIDS ARE SAFE. GIVE PERSPECTIVE, SHE IS ABOUT FIVE MINUTES AWAY FROM THE CENTER OF WHERE THIS TORNADO TOUCHED DOWN AT OCEAN RIDGE PLANTATION COMMUNITY. KATE, THANK YOU FOR CHATTING
