Some viewers watching the UNC-Duke basketball game on Spectrum didn’t get to see the end of the game on WRAL when the cable company lost the signal.

WRAL was told Spectrum experienced technical difficulties. Service was back shortly around 4:15 a.m.

Viewers reported that the ESPN broadcast of the game also became unavailable after the start of the second half.

On Thursday afternoon, Spectrum issued this statement:

“A hardware issue last night interrupted programming on several channels for some of our TV customers in the Raleigh area. Our engineers resolved the issue as quickly as possible, and we apologize for any inconvenience this caused for affected customers.”
