Snowed In: Museum, parks closed Thursday
Today's post detailing snow day hours for museums and parks across the region looks a lot like yesterday's. In other words: Things are still closed or operating on reduced hours.

Here's what I know about for Thursday, Jan. 18:
Marbles Kids Museum and its IMAX theater in downtown Raleigh are closed.
The N.C. Museum of Natural Sciences, N.C. Museum of History and N.C. Museum of Art, including its park, all in Raleigh, are closed today.
The Museum of Life and Science in Durham is closed.
The N.C. Zoo in Asheboro is closed today, but it shared this awesome picture of its polar bears on Wednesday.
Kidzu Children's Museum in Chapel Hill is closed.
Morehead Planetarium and Science Center in Chapel Hill is closed.
Raleigh parks' weather-bound sites (Jaycee, Green Road, Chavis and Abbotts Creek) and track-out sites (Marsh Creek, Lake Lynn, Brier Creek and Barwell Road) will open 9 a.m. All other facilities will open at 10:00 a.m. (or normal opening time). All programs are canceled until 5 p.m. The city will reassess and make a decision about evening operations later Thursday.
Cary Parks, Recreation & Cultural Arts facilities are closed and programs canceled today.
All Durham Parks and Recreation facilities will remain closed.
Before you go anywhere, I'd check in with the location to make sure that plans haven't changed.
