YEAR. TO GET MORE INFORMATION, GO TO NATURAL SCIENCES.ORG. >>> LIKE ANYTHING MADE OUT OF NEON, WE START WITH A PATTERN AND ONCE WE HAVE A FULL-SIZE PATTERN THAT WE LIKE AND DEFINES THE PATENTS, THEN EACH INDIVIDUAL PIECE, EVERY INCH OF GLASS, HAS TO BE BENT OVER A FIRE. WE HAVE A RIBBON BURNER THAT HEATS LONG, CURVED SECTION OF GLASS OR SHORT CURVED SECTIONS, WE HAVE CROSSFIRE THAT DOES 90 DEGREES, 180 DEGREES OR SPLICING PIECES TOGETHER. ONCE WE MAKE THE GLASS, WE PUT THE GAS INSIDE IT, AGE IT, SO WE KNOW IT'LL WORK PERFECTLY, PART OUT ANY OF THE PORTIONS WE DON'T WANT TO APPEAR IN MOUNT GLASS ONTO A BACKGROUND. I'M SO EXCITED TO BE A PART OF THE KNIGHTS OF LIGHTS EVENT. WE HAVE IN STORE 36 ELVES GREETING VISITORS IN DIFFERENT WAYS WITH THEIR OWN ACROBATICS. MY GUESS IS THAT FOR 36 ELVES, THERE IS SOMEWHERE AROUND 600 MOVING PARTS FOR US. THEY ARE 88 FEET, NOT LINEAR FEET BUT 88 ACTUAL FEET OF SOCKS AND ELF BOOTIES BECAUSE SOME OF THESE ELVES ARE JUMPING UP AND DOWN AND THEIR FEET ARE FLYING. THIS IS AN OPPORTUNITY FOR PEOPLE TO SEE NEON IN A DIFFERENT LIGHT, TO HAVE THESE ICONIC IMAGES RENDERED IN NEON AS PART OF A HOLIDAY DISPLAY IS A LOT OF FUN TO US AS MAKERS.
