Women entrepreneurs have a pretty good chance of achieving success in the Raleigh-Cary metro according to a new report from financial information site SmartAsset.
Cary is the top city in the US when it comes to women achieving success, a new study says. Durham and Raleigh also score well.
All three cities rank in the better half of the study for the three categories we considered: employment, housing and social assistance, SmartAsset spokesperson Kara Gibson told WRAL TechWire.
Researchers with SmartAsset found Baltimore to be the best city for women working in the tech sector followed by D.C., Arlington and Chesapeake in Virginia as well was Albuquerque, New Mexico. Locally Durham came in 10th, Raleigh 55th and Charlotte was ranked 20th.
Financial technology company SmartAsset has weighed each of these factors to find the best places to start a career in each state.
