Sky 5 toured the Triangle Monday, finding creeks breaching their banks and water running through the streets.

On the fourth day after Hurricane Florence made landfall, the Cape Fear River reached 59 feet in Fayetteville, and communities downstream braced for even more flooding as the week wears on.

Interstate 95 remains closed to through traffic south of Interstate 40, and 40 eastbound to Wilmington from 95 is also blocked off. The reason is clear from the air.

Tuesday's aerial tour took Sky 5 along I-95 south from Fayetteville through Parkton to Lumberton, where the Lumber River was expected to crest at 11 feet above flood stage.

In low-lying neighborhoods, homes stood completely undamaged alongside their flooded fellows.
