Skirball Fire burns 150 acres near Getty Museum

LOS ANGELES, CA — UPDATE (9:50 am) Up to 150 acres and 0% contained. Trying to stop the fire before it becomes bigger. Helicopters on sight. Evacuation centers set up at rec centers. 4 structures confirmed destroyed, may be up to 6.This all according to Los Angeles Mayor.
UPDATE (9:00 am) SB Lanes of 405 from 101 to 10 now open. NB lanes still blocked.
UPDATE: (8:00 a.m.) According to Getty Museum Twitter, The Getty Center is closed to the public today. The fire is northeast of the Getty Center and east of the San Diego Freeway. Air filtration systems are protecting the galleries from smoke. We continue to monitor the situation and will issue updates as we have them.
UPDATE: (7:10 a.m.) According to Los Angeles Mayor: 405 is closed in the Sepulveda Pass due to #SkirballFire east of the freeway. 220 Firefighters on scene. Mandatory evacuation for area East of the 405 Fwy, South of Mulholland Dr., West of Roscomare Rd. & North of Sunset Blvd.

According to CHP: SIGALERT UPDATE: I-405 AT BEL AIR CREST RD, ALL NB LANES BLOCKED, TRAFFIC DIVERTED OFF AT SANTA MONICA BLVD/ ALL NB I-405 ONRAMPS NORTH OF I-10 ARE BLOCKED/ WB/EB I-10 TO NB I-405 IS BLOCKED FOR UNKNOWN DURATION DUE TO A BRUSH FIRE
UPDATE: (6:45 a.m.)
According to LAPD: Residents by Casiano Rd, Moraga, & Linda Flora in West Los Angeles being evacuated/are evacuated for the 405 brush fire. Residents from Mandeville Canyon & Sullivan Canyon should be prepared for evacuation
UPDATE: (6:15 a.m.) Fire now named the "Skirball Fire"
UPDATE: (5:50 a.m.) Fire now burning 50 acres.
Around 5 a.m. we learned reports of a 10-acre fire burning near the Getty Museum. All North Bound lanes of the 405 are closed in the area.
