Skippyjon Jones author, illustrator headed to Quail Ridge this week
Judy Schachner, author and illustrator of the bestselling series, stops at Quail Ridge on Wednesday.

This is a signing line ticket event, which means you'll need to buy the new book from Quail Ridge to get a ticket to have her sign it.
It's a big week at Quail Ridge.
Betty Birney, author of "Mysteries According to Humphrey," for ages 7 to 10, will be there 6:30 p.m., Tuesday.
Emmy Award winning meteorologist Bill Evans will talk about his book "It's Raining Fish & Spiders," a one-of-a-kind book about weather, for ages 8 to 14, at 4:30 p.m., Thursday.
Later this month, young adult fantasy author Jasper Fforde will visit Oct. 22 with his book "The Last Dragonslayer;" Sharon Lovejoy will talk about her book "My First Bird Book & Bird Feeder," for ages 6 and up, on Oct. 26; and Marjorie Galen will talk about her book "Fashion Designer's Handbook and Fashion Kit," for ages 7 to 13, on Oct. 28.
