RALEIGH, N.C. — Six people have been arrested and are facing multiple drug charges after a traffic stop near Crabtree Valley Mall.

Five people were arrested by members of the Wake County Sheriff's Office during the traffic stop and taken into custody. After a search warrant was executed, a sixth person was taken into custody. Police found a small amount of meth and heroin in the vehicle, which led to a search warrant at a nearby home.

Approximately 5,120 grams of meth with the street value of $1.5 million and 712 grams of heroin with the street value of $427,000 was discovered at the residence. That is the largest drug find in the county in 2020, officials said.

Four of the six arrested have been identified: Orlando Raygoza ($2 million bond), Cornelio Gallegos Molina ($2 million bond), Noe Garcia Garcia (no bond listed) and Angelica Roque Zamora ($1 million bond).

"We believe this is a large operation, and it’s a joint operation, not just with the Wake County Sheriff's office, but we’re working with a number of agencies," Eric Curry, public information officer for the Wake County Sheriff's Office said. "So we hope that this is something that we will continue on, continue this investigation and not something that we will stop with just these arrests."

Curry said this is an ongoing operation and more arrests could follow.
