WRAL WeatherCenter Blog : I would be interested in seeing a radar generated year to date and a 3 month to date total precipitation map of NC.I specifically would like to see the total rainfall amounts around the Fayetteville area. It has rained very little in my area but it rains "often" just north of me. Is there such a map?
WRAL WeatherCenter Blog : Why do some clouds appear as white clouds and others appear as gray clouds when looking at the satellite view?
WRAL WeatherCenter Blog : I have a question about barometric pressure. I have a weather center that gives all the data, etc. Is there a specific pressure when it will rain? I have seen it rain at 30.00 and then at 29.85 it isn't raining. Is there a web site for barometric pressure? I tried several but they do not help. Any help you can give would be appreciated.

WRAL WeatherCenter Blog : I own a home in Knightdale and my house just shook like someone was outside shaking it. After my daughter and I went outside to see what happened, we found nothing. By chance we didn't experience some seismic activity did we. I have a solid 2 story home and there was nothing to suggest anything else but a minor quake-shake. Have you had any other stories like this in the last 5 minutes?
