Silver Alert issued for missing 13-year-old girl in Raleigh

Citizens are asked to be on the lookout for Kayla Walton, 13, who is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.

RALEIGH, N.C. — The N.C. Center for Missing Persons has issued a Silver Alert for a missing endangered teen.

Citizens are asked to be on the lookout for Kayla Walton, 13, who is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.

Walton is described as a black female with long black hair and brown eyes. She stands 5-feet-4-inches tall and weighs 140 pounds.

She was last seen at 5912 Neuse Street wearing a burgundy short sleeve shirt, black jeans and black dress shoes.

Anyone with information about Kayla Walton should call the Wake County Sheriff's Office at 919-856-6911.
