<b>TARBORO, N.C.</b> — The N.C. Center for Missing Persons has issued a Silver Alert for a missing endangered woman, Yvonne Madeline Hughes.

Hughes, 71, is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.

Hughes is described as a black woman with short brown hair and brown eyes. She stands 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds.

She was last seen at 2004 Lancaster Drive in Tarboro wearing a white sweater and blue jeans.

She may be in a silver 2016 Kia Sorrento with Washington, D.C. issued license plate FH-7984.
