Silver Alert canceled for missing Wilson woman

A Silver Alert has been issued by the N.C. Center for Missing Persons for a missing Wilson woman.

WILSON, N.C. — Update: The Silver Alert for Carolyn Ann Lane of Wilson was canceled early Saturday. There was no word on Lane's status.

A Silver Alert has been issued by the N.C. Center for Missing Persons for a missing Wilson woman.

Carolyn Ann Lane is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment. She is 64, stands 5-foot-6 and is 190 pounds. She was last seen at 101 Bryton St. in Wilson.

Lane has short black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black trench coat, beige sweater and khaki joggers. She may also be wearing a blonde wig.

Anyone with information on Lane should call Wilson Police Ofc. C. Sullivan at 252-399-2323.
