Silver Alert canceled for missing Fayetteville woman

The N.C. Center for Missing Persons has issued a Silver Alert for a Fayetteville woman.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — UPDATE: The Cumberland County Sheriff's Office has canceled a Silver Alert issued for Carol Jean Blair. There was no update on her status.

The N.C. Center for Missing Persons has issued a Silver Alert for a Fayetteville woman.

Citizens are asked to be on the lookout for Carol Jean Blair, who is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment. She is 79, 5-foot-2 and 140 pounds. She has short white hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing a white and blue shirt, blue jean Capri pants, sandals and a watch.

Blair's last known location was at 930 Old Vander Rd. in Fayetteville. She was driving a white 2005 Toyota Highlander with Florida license plate IE7-7MZ.

Anyone with information about Blair should call Det. D. Bennett at the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office at 910-323-1500.
