The N.C. Center for Missing Persons canceled a Silver Alert Saturday for Tommie Lee Williams, who was last seen at Johnston Memorial Hospital, 509 Brightleaf Blvd. in Smithfield.

<b>SMITHFIELD, N.C.</b> — The N.C. Center for Missing Persons canceled a Silver Alert Saturday for Tommie Lee Williams, who was last seen at Johnston Memorial Hospital, 509 Brightleaf Blvd. in Smithfield.

Williams, 51, is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.

He was found safe, authorities said. No other details were available.
