Silver Alert canceled after Cary man reported missing
A Silver Alert was canceled Sunday for a 75-year-old Cary man who authorities believed was headed for New York in a Honda CRV.

CARY, N.C. — A Silver Alert was canceled Sunday for a 75-year-old Cary man who authorities believed was headed for New York in a Honda CRV.
Gerald Andrei Bendz, 75, is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.
He was last seen at 6820 Palaver Lane in Cary. On Sunday evening, Cary police said the Silver Alert was canceled but did not provide more information.
