SILER CITY, N.C. — Siler City police are searching for a missing 24-year-old man, Jesse Lewis Maness, who was last seen leaving a restaurant early Saturday morning.

Maness was driving a burgundy, four-door 1995 Chevrolet Corsica with North Carolina license plate YXW-1979, police said.

According to a Facebook page, "Please Pray for Jesse Maness," he was last seen sitting in his car alone in the parking lot of Compadres Mexican Restaurant around 2:30 a.m. Saturday.

He was wearing new Nike Air Max shoes, a long-sleeve cream-colored shirt and cargo khakis, according to the page.

Police said Maness is about 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighs 175 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes.

His family and friends told police that they have not talked with him since Saturday, which is "extremely out of the ordinary" for him, police said.

Anyone with any information is asked to call the Siler City Police Department at 919-742-5626.
