Charles Perkinson, 29, of 14 North Glenn Apartments, was held on $95,000 secured bond. He is charged with statutory rape and child abuse, both felonies.

<b>SILER CITY, N.C.</b> — Chatham County sheriff's deputies arrested a Siler City man last week after a woman accused him of sexual contact with her 7-year-old son.<br />

Charles Perkinson, 29, of 14 North Glenn Apartments, was held on $95,000 secured bond. He is charged with statutory rape and child abuse, both felonies.<br />

He is scheduled to appear in Chatham County District Court in Pittsboro on June 29.
