Sometimes a leaking roof is only visible from indoors, most often in the attic. It's obviously good to periodically go up to your attic and check the walls and ceiling for signs of a leaking roof. A roofing contractor in Phoenix named the following as the top three signs of a leaky roof:
1. Mold: Mold and mildew in the attic are signs that the roof is possibly leaking.
2. Water stains: Water stains on attic walls (or any walls) are a sign that your roof could be leaking.
3. Attic temperature: If the attic is considerably warmer or colder than the rest of the house, it could be a sign that the roof is leaking.
