Shots fired at Raleigh officers while helping Cary police find suspects

— Shots were fired at Raleigh police officers while assisting Cary police in making an arrest on Saturday night.

Raleigh police said around 7:30, shots were fired at officers while in the 700 block of Grove Avenue and one officer fired in return.

Three people were taken into custody. There were no injuries.

A follow-up investigation is underway.
