Shooting victim shows up at ER

Raleigh, N.C. — Raleigh police are investigating the shooting of a man who showed up in the emergency room at WakeMed Friday afternoon.
Based on a preliminary investigation, the shooting victim drove himself or had someone drive him to the ER at WakeMed, said Jim Sughrue, spokesman for Raleigh Police.
Police set up a crime scene at the ER and continued to investigate. No more details about the case were immediately available.
