DUDLEY, N.C. — Three people shot Monday at a Wayne County home may have been victims of a robbery.

Around 1:30 a.m., deputies with the Wayne County Sheriff's Office responded to the home at 101 Jake Drive in Dudley, where detectives believe a robbery occurred.

Three victims were identified as Brandy Boomhower, 38; Jacob Boomhower 21; and Ricky Spencer, 63. All three victims lived together at the home, officials said, but it was unclear how they were related.

Bullet holes were visible on the side of the home on Monday.

Jacob Boomhower was released from Wayne UNC Healthcare. The conditions of the other two victims were unknown.

Neighbors told WRAL News they woke up when they heard several gunshots.

Detectives are working to identify a suspect.

Investigators believe the entire ordeal played out in less than 10 minutes. A neighbor's security camera caught what happened.

At 1:33 a.m., the door to the hoome along Jacob Drive opened up as a truck pulled into the neighborhood. People are seen going in and out of the home.

At 1:37 a.m., the truck pulls out of the neighborhood. Deputies arrived at 1:41 a.m.

"Be advised, we ahve one deputy on the scene," Broacastify radio traffic said. "Possibly multiple subjects shot."

Anyone with information is asked to call Goldsboro/Wayne Crime Stoppers at 919-735-2255 or Det. J. Goodson at 919-581-3556.
